The UNSW Kendo Club is happy to announce that we will be hosting a group of students and teachers from the Gwangju Kumdo Association (GKA) on Wednesday 21st and Friday 23rd of February. This is an open invite to all NSWKA members who wish to take this opportunity to train with the GKA group on either nights.
In attendance on Wednesday 21st February will be:
Taeyoon Nam (6th Dan, Renshi: Coach of Seo-Seok high school)
Hyun Kim (5th Dan, Former Hawaiian team members 16th,17th WKC)
3 students from Seo-seok High school
4 students from Chosun University
In attendance on Friday 23rd February will be:
Dongjin Jeong (8th Dan, Kyoshi: Principal of Seo-Seok Middle school from 2024)
Taeho Kim (7th Dan, Kyoshi: Head Coach of Buk-gu District’s Kumdo team)
The UNSW Kendo Club is located at:

Wednesday night training is from 7:30pm – 9:30pm
Friday night training is from 8:00pm – 9:30pm
For safety reasons, the training is only available to members in full bogu.
