The NSW state kendo grading (2022 first session) is now open for application.
Kyu grading from 6th Kyu to 1st Kyu.
Dan grading from 1st Dan to 4th Dan
For grading applicants:
All applicants MUST have an AKR ID prior to applying to grade. All active AKR IDs of 2021-22 will be sent to club representatives.

Fill out the grading application form and submit the completed form and appropriate payment through your club representative. Ensure that you receive approval to grade from your instructor.
If your current grade was issued by a kendo organisation other than the AKR, please submit a copy of your current grade certificate to registration@nswkendo.org
For club representatives,
Please coordinate grading applications by your club members by following these steps:
1. Advise grading applicants to fill out a grading application form
2. Advise club members to get the sensei or teacher to sign the form, then submit the completed form and required payment. List of fees can be found on the afore-mentioned grading form.
3. Club Treasurer/Representative: Pay grading fee into the NSWKA account in one lump sum and CC receipt to registration@nswkendo.org. Please remember to enter the name of your club when depositing fees, and avoid making individual payments to the AKR or NSWKA account.
4. Club Secretary/Representative enter the grading applicant details into the grading spreadsheet. (Examinee-Results Tab required only)
All grading applications must be submitted no later than Sunday 24th April 2022. Late registration will not be accepted.
Once the grading eligibility check is completed, club representatives will be contacted to confirm the list of eligible grading candidates.
